LYR 1507 6 wheel 5 compartment Third

LYR 1507 6 wheel 5 compartment Third built 1882 (Newton Heath).  Underframe removed and body relocated to Valley Gardens, Hapton near Burnley around 1910. Donated by the late Tom Bell in 1991 and painstakingly restored to working order (2005) over a period of 15 years, at a cost of £17,000. 

Uses an underframe from an ex-LMS BGZ. carriage.

Normally on public display in Oxenhope Exhibition Shed on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, but also in regular use on KWVR Vintage Trains, often pulled by 957.
